Designed as a scalable extension of the company's maritime defense lineup, the Kraken XL UUV Barrier establishes a resilient, physical perimeter to protect critical ports, harbors, and high-value marine infrastructure from subsea drones and underwater intruders. Unlike traditional coastal engineering structures, the system prioritizes rapid deployment and component-level replaceability, enabling it to withstand harsh ocean environments with minimal long-term lifecycle and maintenance costs.
The Kraken system operates through an integrated, underwater network featuring specialized structure and built-in detection sensors designed to identify, delay, and physically stop autonomous underwater threats. Built from rugged, corrosion-resistant components, the barrier remains stable under intense wind and wave loading while seamlessly connecting with existing port command architectures. To ensure a comprehensive defense posture, the underwater barrier is designed to pair directly with the Poseidon Maritime Security Barrier, creating a multi-layered, surface-to-subsurface shield capable of stopping synchronized swarm attacks from both unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and subsurface UUVs simultaneously.
