Distinguished Naval Officer, Senior Civil Servant, and Law Enforcement Leader Brings Over Three Decades of Operational, Security, and Public Sector Expertise
WEST CALDWELL, N.J. — April 14, 2026 — Bishop Ascendant Inc., a premier engineering firm specializing in modular maritime defense, physical barrier architectures, and critical infrastructure protection, today announced the appointment of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Tony Reid, USN (Ret.), GS-15 (Ret.), DON LEO (Ret.), to its Board of Strategic Advisors.
LCDR Reid brings a decorated career spanning active military service, senior civilian executive leadership within the Department of the Navy (DON), and specialized public safety and law enforcement officer (LEO) experience. In his advisory capacity, Reid will support Bishop Ascendant’s government relations, public sector procurement strategies, and the operational integration of deployable physical security solutions across naval and port infrastructure.

LCDR Reid’s career includes 20 years of active-duty service as a operational U.S. Navy officer, followed by a distinguished tenure in the Senior Federal Civil Service, culminating at the GS-15 Level (Step 10). Alongside his naval and civilian leadership roles, Reid served as a designated Department of the Navy Law Enforcement Officer (DON LEO), overseeing complex security frameworks, base resilience, and physical safeguard operations.
